Comments:

Sunshine Radio have used this a site in this vicinity, near Ludlow, for AM broadcasting for many years, even before the station obtained a licence!

In 1982, when the legal ILR station, Radio Wyvern, was preparing to go into programme service many of the new Wyvern employees would ring up Sunshine Radio for requests and dedications, presumably to get some much needed free publicity!!

This photo shows the current mast at Villa Farm, Greete. The small stone transmitter building is just out of shot to the left of this picture, and the progammes could be clearly heard from a loudspeaker within!

The pink building in front of my yellow car is the TX building, and programme material could be heard coming from within . The mast has a capacitance tophat - notice there are no guy insulators on the top set of guys until they are near the ground.
